Bud has over fifty years of business experience in New Mexico. He obtained his masters degree in Business at the University of Texas and served as an Air Force Officer during the Vietnam War. He started his professional career as a C.P.A working for KPMG in Albuquerque and went on to rise through several financial institutions, including vice-chairman of the First National Bank in Albuquerque and he served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President for all of the Maloof companies. Bud also served as Vice President and Treasurer of Public Service Company of NM for several years.

Bud Reynolds along with his wife of 47 years, Marilyn has been involved in horse show activities for years along with their now grown daughter, Kirstine, who resides in San Ramon California. Bud currently serves on the Board of Trustee with McMurry University in Abilene, TX.

Over the past twenty years Bud has been working as a business and real estate consultant for a variety of clients and companies.  He has many years of experience in finding solutions for complex problems and bringing opportunities to fruition.  Bud enjoys working on special projects and has served on numerous community organizations. A few notable transactions Bud has been involved with are:

• The sale of the First Plaza complex by First National Bank in Albuquerque
• The sale and redevelopment of the original First National Bank building located at 3rd and Central NW
• Acquisition and development of seven 100 +/- room hotel properties in New Mexico, Arizona and California
• Acquisition and sale of the Houston Rockets (NBA Franchise)
